Abstract:
A production method for a laminate having excellent thermal insulation properties and strength is provided. The laminate comprises a glass panel unit (10), an intermediate film (30), and a transparent plate (20). The transparent plate (20) is adhered to the glass panel unit (10) via the intermediate film (30). The glass panel unit (10) comprises a first glass panel (1), a second glass panel (2), and a reduced-pressure space (3). The reduced-pressure space (3) is located between the first glass panel (1) and the second glass panel (2). The laminate production method includes some steps. The steps include evacuating the interior of a bag (40) in which the glass panel unit (10), the intermediate film (30), and the transparent plate (20) have been placed and by way of the bag (40) being shrunk in this manner, adhering the glass panel unit (10) and the transparent plate (20) to one another via the intermediate film (30). The steps also include raising the temperature of the intermediate film (30) up to a predetermined temperature at which the intermediate film (30) softens, while elevating the internal pressure of the bag (40) relative to that of the initial phase of heating.
