Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a laminate for secondary batteries which makes it possible to produce a secondary battery having both excellent safety and excellent charging capacity. A laminate according to the present invention is provided with: a negative electrode; a first separator that is bonded to one surface of the negative electrode; a positive electrode that is bonded to the surface of the first separator on the reverse side from the negative electrode side; and a second separator that is bonded to the other surface of the negative electrode. In the laminate according to the present invention, at least part of a side surface of the positive electrode along the stacking direction is covered by a protrusion formed by deformation of the first separator. The stacking direction-wise height of the protrusion, as measured from a reference surface where the first separator and the positive electrode are in contact, is 15-130% of the stacking direction-wise height of the positive electrode as measured from the reference surface.
