Abstract:

A laminating device and a laminating method for a display substrate, which relate to the technical field of display and aim to improve the bonding yield between a protective cover plate (6) with a large-arc bending and a flexible substrate (5). The laminating device comprises: a plate (1), which is bendable and has rebound characteristics and is configured to carry the flexible substrate (5); a supporting base (2), configured to support the plate (1) and drive the plate (1) and the flexible substrate (5) that is located on the plate (1) to move; a bending assembly (3), configured to apply stress and drive the plate (1) and the flexible substrate (5) located on the plate (1) to bend toward a side, away from the flexible substrate (5), of the plate (1) and to release the stress to allow the plate (1) and flexible substrate (5) to rebound; and a fixing jig (4), configured to fix the protective cover plate (6). The protective cover (6) is used for laminating with the flexible substrate (5); the shape of the fixing jig (4) is the same as or similar to that of the protective cover plate (6), and the fixing jig (4) is bent to form an accommodating space. The protective cover (6) is fixed in the accommodating space.
