Abstract:
Provided are a lamp unit capable of forming an irradiation pattern near a vehicle while achieving reduced size in a vertical direction, and a vehicle lamp using the same. A lamp unit (20) comprises: an installation stand part (21) on which a plurality of light sources (34, 35) are provided; a condensing lens (23) which condenses light from the plurality of light sources; a light-blocking member (24) in which a plurality of slit parts (46) for partially passing the light condensed by the condensing lens are provided; and a projection lens (25) which projects the light that has passed through the light-blocking member to form an irradiation pattern (Pi) having a plurality of irradiation designs (Di). The installation stand part, the condensing lens, the light-blocking member, and the projection lens are arranged along a lamp unit axis (Ar). The projection lens (25) and the light-blocking member (24) are rotated downward around a reference focus (Fb) set on the lamp unit axis (Ar), and the installation stand part (21) and the condensing lens (23) are rotated downward around an installation stand part reference point (Ph) set behind and above the reference focus (Fb).
