Abstract:
An objective of the present invention is to enable the length of a lanyard to be automatically controlled according to the position of a worker. This lanyard control device comprises: an image processing means for obtaining position information for a worker in a work site from image data captured with a camera; a calculation means for calculating an allowable length for a lanyard, which has one end attached to a fall restraint apparatus equipped on the worker and the other end attached to fall restraint apparatus equipment, on the basis of the position information for the worker such that movement is limited to a work-permitted range which is a safe distance away from a prescribed zone in the work site at which entry is restricted; and a setting means for setting the the reel of the lanyard to the allowable length of the lanyard calculated by the calculation means.
