A large to medium-size sweeping and mopping vehicle comprises a vehicle body (1). A disc-type sweeping mechanism, a roller-type sweeping mechanism, and a first mopping mechanism are sequentially disposed along the vehicle body (1). The disc-type sweeping mechanism comprises: a clean water tank (2); and a disc-type side sweeping-brush (3) driven by a motor and disposed obliquely with respect to the ground. The clean water tank (2) is disposed in front of a driver zone of the vehicle body (1). A nozzle is disposed above the disc-type side sweeping-brush (3) and is in communication with the clean water tank (2). The roller-type sweeping mechanism comprises: a refuse collector (6); and a roller-type main sweeping-brush (7) driven by the motor to rotate horizontally. The first mopping mechanism comprises: a pulling roller (10); a ground-contact roller (11); a guiding roller (12); a ring-shaped mop (13); and a mopping water tank (14). By combining a sweeping system with a mopping system, the sweeping system can efficiently collect solid refuse while the mopping system can efficiently remove dust from the ground, and refuse and dust are removed from a roadside by using a side brush with assistance of a water spraying system.
