Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and a device for controlling a laser output. An embodiment provides a method for controlling a laser output of a laser device which comprises a laser generation part and a handpiece for emitting a laser generated by the laser generation part toward a target, the method comprising the steps of: measuring distances between a plurality of distance sensors and the target by means of the plurality of distance sensors, the distance sensors being arranged along the periphery of one end of the handpiece through which a laser is output; calculating an valid area of a region of the target which is actually irradiated by a laser, on the basis of the distances between the distance sensors and the target; and increasing/decreasing a laser output in order to irradiate the valid area with a laser at predetermined energy density, and a device capable of performing the same method.
