Abstract:
A laser device according to one embodiment comprises: a laser beam source that emits a pulse laser beam L1; and a pulse width control unit that amplifies the pulse laser beam emitted from the laser beam source and changes the pulse width of the pulse laser beam, outputting the resultant laser beam. The pulse width control unit comprises: a first laser amplifier that amplifies the pulse laser beam; and a pulse waveform manipulation unit that is disposed between the first laser amplifier and the laser beam source, and that manipulates the pulse waveform of the pulse laser beam.
