Abstract:
In the present disclosure, a laser diode drive circuit (10) comprises: a plurality of laser diodes (LD1-1, LD1-2) the cathode sides of which are connected in common; a capacitor C2 that supplies current to the laser diodes (LD1-1, LD1-2); and switching elements (Q1-1, Q1-2). The laser diode drive circuit (10) furthermore comprises: a drive power source (V1) that supplies current to the capacitor (C2); a diode (D1) that limits the flow of current in the direction for charging the capacitor (C2); a diode (D1) that limits the flow of current in the direction for charging the capacitor (C2); and current suppression elements provided to the anode side of each of the plurality of laser diodes (LD1-1, LD1-2), the current suppression elements suppressing the flow of current flowing in one laser diode to another laser diode during charging of the capacitor (C2).
