Abstract:
A laser device for laser machining, which limits the output power fluctuation to perform desired machining. A second harmonic (2$g(v)) enters a nonlinear optical crystal (2), which converts the harmonic (2$g(v)) to third harmonic (3$g(v)) or fourth harmonic (4$g(v)). The input and output ends of the nonlinear optical crystal (2) are provided with heaters (4a, 4b) controlled by temperature controllers (6a, 6b), respectively. One end of the nonlinear optical crystal (2) is maintained at a temperature which allows the maximum power immediately after laser irradiation, while the other end of the nonlinear optical crystal (2) is maintained at a temperature which allows the maximum output power after the temperature rise due to self- heating with laser irradiation.
