Abstract:

Provided are a laser processing machine and bellows device comprising: a processing table (6) which has a workpiece (W) placed thereon; a laser oscillator (2) which generates laser light (L); a light-guiding optical system (3) which deflects the laser light (L) generated by the laser oscillator (2); a tubular bellows (41) which is capable of elongation/contraction and surrounds the optical path of the laser light (L) after the laser light (L) is deflected by the light-guiding optical system (3); a bending mirror (51) which moves in the axial direction of the bellows (41) while the bellows (41) is elongated/contracted, and which deflects the laser light (L) that has passed through the bellows (41) towards the processing table (6); a processing head (5) which irradiates the workpiece (W) with the laser light that has been deflected by the bending mirror (51); an abnormality detector which comprises a beam sensor light-emitting section (43a) for emitting a light beam (B) that is propagated parallel with the axis of the bellows (41), and which comprises a beam sensor photodetection section (43b) for measuring the received amount of light of the light beam (B); and a control device (1) which stops the laser oscillator (2) if the received amount of light of the light beam (B) measured by the beam sensor photo detection section (43b) has fallen below a first threshold value.
