Abstract:
Provided is a laser tracker, wherein in the control of the laser tracker having an optimal servo gain that differs according to distance, the servo gain can be set to an optimal value using distance information. A laser tracker (1) is provided with: a laser source (2) which applies a laser beam (Lb) to a target (Tg); an angle adjusting means (3) which can adjust the angle of the laser beam around two orthogonal axes; a light receiving unit (7) which receives reflected light; a measurement means (4) which measures the distance to the target (Tg) from the applied laser beam (Lb) and the received reflected light; and a control means (5) which controls the angle adjusted by the angle adjusting means (3) on the basis of a gain set in a variable gain setting unit from position information recognized by the light receiving unit (7). The laser tracker is further provided with a gain ordering means (16) which finds a gain that is inversely proportional to the distance measured by the measurement means (4) and sets the gain in the variable gain setting unit.
