Abstract:
The present invention corrects a positional shift of a laser beam used for the welding of an object to be welded without an operator's action. An irradiator 12 performs welding along a weld portion of an object 60 to be welded by relatively moving the object 60 to be welded and a nozzle 14 for emitting a laser beam. An arm device 20 movably holds the nozzle 14 while applying a biasing force to the nozzle 14 in the direction of the weld portion so that the laser beam irradiates the weld portion by bringing the nozzle 14 into contact with the object 60 to be welded.
