Abstract:
Disclosed are a latch and a cooking apparatus. The cooking apparatus comprises: a housing; a door which is rotatably coupled to the housing and comprises a key door protruding backward; and a latch provided in the housing so as to fix the door and sense opening/closing of the door, wherein the latch comprises: a latch housing coupled to the housing; a lever which is coupled to the latch housing to be rotatable about a rotary shaft; a block lever which is slidably coupled to the lever so as to prevent or allow the rotation of the lever, the block lever being pressed by the key door when the door is closed and sliding so as to allow the rotation of the lever, and returning to the original position due to the elastic force of itself when the door is opened.
