Abstract:

A laundry treatment apparatus, according to the present invention, comprises: a casing; an outer tub which is suspended within the casing; a rack which extends in the up/down direction; a pinion which, when the outer tub vibrates, is moved along the rack and is rotated by interaction with the rack; and a torsion element which induces a torsional resisting moment when the pinion rotates, thereby damping the rotation of the pinion.
