Abstract:
A laundry treatment device and a liquid level detection method therefor, which relate to the technical field of laundry treatment devices, and aim to solve the problem of insufficient precision of a liquid level height detection result of an existing drum washing machine. For this purpose, the laundry treatment device comprises: a tank body (1); a drum (5), which is arranged in the tank body (1); and an infrared camera (6), which is used for collecting an image in the drum (5). The liquid level detection method comprises: collecting an image in a drum (5); extracting an image feature of the image; and determining a liquid level height in the drum on the basis of the image feature, and a stored mapping relationship between the image feature and the liquid level height. By means of the apparatus, an image in a drum can be collected by means of an infrared camera (6) and an image feature can be extracted, and a liquid level height in the drum is determined on the basis of the image feature and a stored mapping relationship between the image feature and the liquid level height, such that the problem of a detection result being imprecise when a drum washing machine uses a method for detecting a liquid level height by means of a liquid level sensor is avoided, and the precision of the detection result is ensured, thereby facilitating precise control.
