The present invention relates to a lawnmower, comprising a base; a cover, provided above the base and forming a main compartment with the base; an electric motor, arranged within the main compartment, the electric motor being fixed on the base and provided with an output shaft; an adapter sleeve, the adapter sleeve being fixed on the output shaft, the end of the adapter sleeve facing away from the electric motor being a mating surface; and a cutter disk, the cutter disk being connected to the mating surface, the cutter disk being provided with a cutting blade, where the cutting blade is positionally adjustable in the axial direction of the output shaft. Cutting height adjustments are implemented by changing the position of the cutter disk in the axial direction of the output shaft, the electric motor is fixed directly on the base to complete the process, and the need to separately provide a compartment outside of the electric motor is obviated, thus simplifying the structure; moreover, because the need to provide structures such as a lifting button and a threaded rod is obviated, there is no structures such as a lifting button and a threaded rod that affect the seal of the main compartment, the seal of the main compartment is excellent.
