Abstract:
Provided are a layered piezoelectric element and an electroacoustic transducer, with which high voltage characteristics are obtained and in which electrical contact points with an electrode layer are easily maintained. A piezoelectric film is stacked in multiple layers, the piezoelectric film being obtained by layering, in the stated order, a first protective layer, a first electrode layer, a piezoelectric layer, a second electrode layer, and a second protective layer, each piezoelectric layer being polarized in the thickness direction, and in each piezoelectric film, a first electrode being positioned on the upstream side in the polarization direction of the piezoelectric layer, and a second electrode being positioned on the downstream side, the plurality of piezoelectric films each having: an adhesive part that is affixed to an adjacent piezoelectric film; and a projecting part from which at least a first electrode layer and a first protective layer, or a second electrode layer and a second protective layer, project from the adhesive part toward the planar-direction outer side, the projecting part not being affixed to the adjacent piezoelectric film, and a first contact point in which the first electrode layers of the piezoelectric films are mutually electrically connected, and/or a second contact point in which the second electrode layers of the piezoelectric films are mutually electrically connected, being formed on the projecting part of each piezoelectric film.
