Abstract:
A leakage detector comprises a printed board on which a leakage detection control circuit is mounted, a switch with a reset function mounted on one side of the printed board, a leakage detection current transformer mounted on the opposite side of the printed board, an external connection terminal for introducing and outputting power, and a wire member connected between the external connection terminals while penetrating the leakage detection current transformer. The switch with a reset function is arranged to be connected to the leakage detection control circuit between the external connection terminals. Since the components are arranged compactly on the upper and lower sides of the printed board through a very simple mechanism, the leakage detector can be reduced in size and cost and installed suitably in the housing of various apparatuses, e.g. a copy machine, a printer, and the like.
