Abstract:
Disclosed is an LED illuminating lamp (1) which has an LED as a light source and can emit light of a uniform color by wavelength conversion. The LED illuminating lamp is provided with: a light emitting diode (4) disposed on a circuit board (2); and a dome cap (70) composed of a light transmissive cap base body (7), which is disposed on the circuit board so as to cover, in the semispherical manner, the light output surface of the light emitting diode, and a fluorescent material layer (8), which is formed on the inner side of the cap base body and converts the wavelength of light emitted from the light emitting diode. The fluorescent material layer (8) has uneven layer thickness such that the thickness of a portion where light having a relatively high luminance is applied from the light emitting diode (4) is more than the thickness of a portion where light having a relatively low luminance is applied from the light emitting diode.
