Abstract:

An LED heat sink for vehicles, which contains an injection molded article of a thermally conductive resin composition that contains (A) 50-90% by weight of a thermoplastic polyester resin having a number average molecular weight of 12,000-70,000 and (B) 10-50% by weight of a flake graphite having a fixed carbon content of 98% by mass or more and an aspect ratio of 21 or more, said thermally conductive resin composition having a specific gravity of 1.4-1.7 and a thermal conductivity in the plane direction of 1 W/(m·K) or more. This LED heat sink for vehicles has excellent thermal conductivity, moldability, fogging properties, ultrasonic weldability to metals or resins, and the like, while being light in weight. In addition, this LED heat sink for vehicles is able to be produced at low cost.
