Abstract:
Disclosed are an LED light string having a series structure, and a manufacturing process therefor, the light string comprising a lead (1) and SMD LED (2), the lead (1) being provided with evenly spaced conductive platforms (3), positive and negative electrodes of the SMD LED (2) being welded to two ends of the conductive platform (3) along the direction of extension of the lead (1), and a break separating the two ends of the conductive platform (3) also being provided in the middle of the conductive platform (3); the exterior of the SMD LED (2) is coated in a protective casing (4) formed by spot adhesive curing. The LED light string is a series structure formed by means of first welding SMD LED onto a long lead and then cutting the lead, and can be conveniently manufactured by means of an automated manufacturing process, the production efficiency and structural stability thereof being superior to a manufacturing process comprising first cutting and then welding. The protective casing formed by spot adhesive curing can effectively prevent the LED from detaching from the lead.
