Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a length measuring device that can accurately fix a measuring instrument to a slide rail at a desired position and can measure the length of a workpiece with high precision. [Solution] A length measuring device 1 includes a sliding unit 20 including: a slide rail 13 that is integrally fixed to a workpiece processing device; a slide main body 30 that is set and attached to the slide rail 13 so as to be freely slidable; a length measure 70 that measures a moving distance of the slide main body 30; a temporarily fixing member 40; a fine adjustment mechanism 50 that connects the slide main body 30 and the temporarily fixing member 40 so that they are movable relative to each other in a sliding direction of the slider main body 30; a first clamp 35 for fixing the slide main body 30 to the slide rail 13; and a temporarily fixing clamp 45 for fixing the temporarily fixing member 40 to the slide rail 13.
