Abstract:
A lens array 20 is provided with a plurality of lens sections 24 arranged on a curved surface in a two-dimensional array. Each of the plurality of lens sections 24 includes: a base 26 that has a tapered side surface 30 with the outer diameter decreasing with increasing distance from the curved surface along the height; and a top 28 that has a lens surface 32 located on the base 26. An angular difference Δθ exists between the height directions A and B of two mutually adjacent lens sections 24a, 24b among the plurality of lens sections 24. The angular difference Δθ is less than twice the taper angle θ of each side surface 30 of the two mutually adjacent lens sections 24a, 24b.
