Assumed is a lens barrel device provided with an optical system in which a plurality of lens groups are configured to be movable independently of each other for focus control. This lens barrel device is configured to be provided with a control unit that performs movement control of the plurality of lens groups on the basis of setting information of a movement locus pattern selected according to input information among multiple pieces of setting information as movement locus patterns that define movement loci of the plurality of lens groups.
