Abstract:
Provided is a lens unit in which a resin lens is arranged on the inside of a metal lens barrel and decreases in optical performance at low temperatures and at high temperatures are suppressed. A protrusion 70 protruding toward at least one of the image side and the object side is formed on an inner circumference-side end of a spacer 63 in the lens unit 100, a recess 80 recessed toward the image side or toward the object side is formed at a position facing the protrusion 70 in the resin lens 5, a first gap T1 in the radial direction is provided between the outer circumferential surface of the resin lens 5 and the inner circumferential surface of the lens barrel 10, a second gap T2 in the radial direction is provided between the outer circumferential surface 71 of the protrusion 70 and a side surface 82 of the recess 80, the outer circumferential surface of the resin lens 5 and the inner circumferential surface of the lens barrel 10 are brought into contact when the temperature becomes a first predetermined temperature that is higher than room temperature, and the outer circumferential surface 71 of the protrusion and the side surface 82 of the recess 80 are brought into contact when the temperature becomes a second predetermined temperature that is lower than room temperature.
