Abstract:
This lens unit comprises: a lens; a lens frame; and a lens barrel that is configured so as to accommodate the lens frame on the inner circumferential side thereof and to be capable of connecting to a substrate on which an imaging element is mounted; and a temperature correction member having a first portion and a second portion which are positioned so as to be separated from each other in the direction running along the optical axis. The temperature correction member is in contact with the lens barrel at the first portion thereof and is in contact with the lens frame at the second portion thereof. The lens frame is configured so as to be movable with respect to the lens barrel in the direction running along the optical axis. The length to which the portion, from the first portion to the second portion of the temperature correction member, stretches per unit temperature in the direction running along the optical axis differs from the length to which the portion, positioned closer to the side of the lens barrel that is connected to the substrate than the portion that is in contact with the first portion, stretches per unit temperature in the direction running along the optical axis.
