Abstract:
Provided is a lens unit having: a lens comprising a first circular section and a second circular section that are lined up in the optical axis direction; and a resin lens barrel formed cylindrically and comprising a first inner circumferential surface having the first circular section fitted thereto and a second inner circumferential surface having the second circular section fitted thereto at a position separated, in the optical axis direction, from the fitting section for the first circular section and the first inner circumferential surface, said second inner circumferential surface having the second circular section coming in contact therewith at at least three locations in the circumferential direction.
