Abstract:
Provided is a lens unit comprising: a lens wherein a first circular part having a first diameter as viewed in the optical axis direction and a second circular part having a second diameter larger than the first diameter as viewed in the optical axis direction are arranged along the optical axis direction; a sealing material formed into an annular shape as viewed in the optical axis direction with the inner peripheral surface kept in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the first circular part; and a barrel that includes a first inner wall formed into a circular shape as viewed in the optical axis direction and sandwiching the sealing material along with the first circular part, and a second inner wall having three or more contact areas formed in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the second circular part at intervals along the circumferential direction of the lens.
