Abstract:
The present invention relates to a level-measuring apparatus for a coking chamber of a coke oven, which can measure the level of coal or coke in the coking chamber of the coke oven without having to insert a level sensor into the coking chamber. The level-measuring apparatus for a coking chamber of a coke oven comprises: a sensing unit arranged outside the coking chamber to measure a distance using a laser beam; a light-channel unit which provides a reciprocating path of light emitted from the sensing unit and entering the sensing unit; a light reflection unit arranged at one end of the light channel unit to reflect light entering the coking chamber from the sensing unit, through the light channel unit toward the coal or coke, and reflect light from the coal or coke toward the sensing unit; and a beam unit on which the light channel unit is mounted, and which moves in the lengthwise direction of the coking chamber so as to move the light reflection unit.
