Abstract:
Provided is a lever-type connector that facilitates size reduction of a lever. The lever-type connector is provided with: a housing (10) in which a support shaft (27) is provided so as to protrude therefrom; and a lever (30) that has a bearing part (33) that receives the support shaft (27) and is supported by the housing (10), an operation part (31) that acts as a leverage point during a fitting operation, and a cam groove (36) that engages with a protruding cam follower (98) of a partner housing (90) and promotes fitting together of the housing (10) and the partner housing (90) through rotation of the bearing part (33) serving as a fulcrum. The shaft center of the cam follower (98), when engaged with the cam groove (36), is shifted toward the operation part (31) with respect to the shaft center of the bearing part (33) in a direction that is orthogonal to the direction in which the housing (10) and the partner housing (90) fit together.
