Abstract:
Provided is a lifter having a simple structure capable of stopping the up-and-down movement of a container holder in the case of damage and the like of a component constituting a driving force transmission unit to enable quick detection of the damage and the like of the component and prevention of occurrence of serious bodily injury. A lifter 1 comprises: left and right columns 2a, 2b; and a container holder 5 that is disposed between the left and right columns and holds a container. A screw shaft 7 is rotatably provided in each of the left and right columns. A screw nut 8 connected to the container holder is screwed on the screw shaft, whereby the container holder is moved up and down by rotation of the screw shaft. A boss 27 is provided on a lateral face of the container holder 5. A supporting shaft 37 to be fit into a center hole of the boss 27 is provided on an outer peripheral face of a nut housing 32 attached to the screw nut 8.
