Abstract:
Provided is a light absorption filter that comprises: a support, a resin disposed on the support, and a dye layer containing a dye having a main absorption wavelength band of 400-700 nm and a compound that generates radicals upon irradiation with ultraviolet light. The light absorption filter has a layer that inhibits diffusion of a component in the dye layer to the support, that is disposed between the support and the dye layer. Also provided are an optical filter using the light absorption filter and a method for manufacturing the optical filter, an organic electroluminescent display device, an inorganic electroluminescent display device, and a liquid crystal display device.
