Abstract:
The present invention comprises: a flow path unit that maintains, on an arrangement plane, a plurality of flow columns in which a plurality of liquid droplets 4, which are dispersed in oil, move along linear flows; a laser beam radiating unit that introduces a laser beam 3 in a direction in which the plurality of flow columns of the flow path unit are arranged, and that irradiates the plurality of flow columns; and a light detection unit that detects emitted light, which is generated from the plurality of flow columns due to the radiation of the laser beam, from a direction perpendicular to the arrangement plane. The difference between a refractive index no of the oil and a refractive index nd of the liquid droplets is -0.02≤nd-no≤0.05.
