Abstract:
In this invention, a light scanning device comprises: an optical waveguide array that includes a plurality of optical waveguides, which each propagate light along a first direction and are aligned along a second direction crossing the first direction, and emits a light beam; a phase shifter array that includes a plurality of phase shifters that are connected to the plurality of optical waveguides; a control circuit that is for controlling the direction and shape of the light beam emitted from the optical waveguide array by controlling the phase shift amounts of the plurality of phase shifters and/or the input of light into the plurality of phase shifters; a photodetector that is for detecting the light beam after the same has been reflected by an object; and a signal processing circuit that is for generating distance distribution data on the basis of the output of the photodetector.
