Abstract:
Provided is a light emission device having excellent light emission performance despite having a thin profile. This light emission device is provided with: a base having an obverse surface; one or more light sources having an optical axis, the light sources being provided on the obverse surface of the base; a reflective lens provided so that the light sources are disposed between the reflective lens and the base; a reflective sheet provided along the obverse surface of the base so as to surround the light sources, the reflective sheet having a first surface angled at a first angle with respect to a plane substantially orthogonal to the optical axis so as to increase in distance from the base correspondingly with respect to an increase in the distance from the light sources; and a light diffusion member provided so that the light sources, the reflective lens, and the reflective sheet are disposed between the light diffusion member and the base.
