Abstract:
A light emitting apparatus (10) includes: a substrate (2) having a first surface; a light emitting element (3) mounted on the first surface of the substrate (2) to emit excitation light; and a wavelength conversion member (6) that is in contact with the entirety of at least an edge section of the first surface of the substrate (2). The wavelength conversion member (6) has a portion extending further outward than at least a section of the edge section of the first surface of the substrate (2), in a plan view of the first surface of the substrate (2).
