Abstract:
Provided is a long-life light-emitting device. In this light-emitting device having an EL layer between a pair of electrodes, specific configurations are used for a hole injection layer and an electron transport layer which are in the EL layer, whereby the carrier balance during driving can be controlled so as to change spontaneously, and initial deterioration of the light-emitting device can be suppressed. Moreover, at this time, the size of an electron injection barrier on a laminate interface between a light-emitting layer and the electron transport layer which are in the EL layer is increased, whereby the speed of the spontaneous changes thereof is reduced, and therefore a light-emitting device that is excellent from the viewpoint of long-term deterioration can be realized.
