Abstract:
A light emitting device according to one embodiment of the present disclosure comprises a plurality of light emitting elements. Each light emitting element has a semiconductor layer configured by layering, in this order, a first conductive layer having a light emitting surface, a light emitting layer, and a second conductive layer. Each light emitting element further includes a first electrode contacting the second conductive layer, and a second electrode contacting the first conductive layer. In each light emitting element, the first conductive layer and the second electrode are shared. Each light emitting element has, in the first conductive layer, a current path from a section facing the first electrode to a section facing the second electrode. The first conductive layer is provided with one or a plurality of trenches in a region between two adjacent current paths. The light emitting device further comprises a light shielding part provided in one or a plurality of trenches.
