Abstract:
In this light-emitting device 10 are combined at least a solid-state light-emitting element 3, a first wavelength converter 1A, and a second wavelength converter 2A, said light-emitting device 10 emitting an output light 4. The solid-state light-emitting element 3 emits a primary light 3B. The first wavelength converter 1A absorbs at least a portion of the primary light 3B and converts this absorbed light to a first wavelength conversion light 1B. The second wavelength converter 2A absorbs at least a portion of a first mixed light 14 that includes the first wavelength conversion light 1B and a first transmitted primary light 3BT1 transmitted through the first wavelength converter 1A, and converts this absorbed light to a second conversion light 2B. The output light 4 includes at least the light components of the second wavelength conversion light 2B and a transmitted first wavelength conversion light 1BT2, which is a light component resulting from the first wavelength conversion light 1B having been transmitted through the second wavelength converter 2A.
