Abstract:
A light-emitting device (1) emits white light and comprises: a substrate (10); a solid light-emitting element (20) that is disposed on the substrate (10); a phosphor layer (30) which is composed of a silicone resin in which fluorescent members (35) containing KSF phosphors (35a) that emit light by being excited by light from the solid light-emitting element (20) are dispersed, and which is disposed on the substrate (10) so as to cover the solid light-emitting element (20); and a light transmitting member (40) which is disposed on the substrate (10) so as to surround the phosphor layer (30) without exposing the same, and contacts the substrate (10) in positions surrounding the outer periphery of the phosphor layer (30) in a top view. The light transmitting member (40) has a water vapor transmission rate of 50.0 g/m2∙day or less.
