Abstract:
[Problem] To provide: a light-emitting device that enables light emitted from a light-emitting element to enter a lens suitably; a manufacturing method for the light-emitting device; and a distance measurement device. [Solution] This light-emitting device comprises: a substrate; a plurality of light-emitting elements provided to a first surface side of the substrate; and a plurality of lenses provided to a second surface side of the substrate. The substrate includes a first groove that has a shape surrounding a first lens which is included in the plurality of lenses. The first groove has a first lateral surface provided on the first lens side and a second lateral surface provided on the side opposite to that of the first lens. An oblique angle formed by the first lateral surface relative to the first surface or the second surface is at least 80 degrees and no greater than 100 degrees.
