Abstract:
A light-emitting device according to the present disclosure comprises: a plurality of first light emitting elements (21), which are mounted on a substrate (40a), have first LED dies, and emit light having a first wavelength; a first light-transmitting layer (43a) which is disposed so as to cover the plurality of first light emitting elements (21) and which allows light emitted from the plurality of first light emitting elements (21) to transmit therethrough; a second light-transmitting layer (44a) which allows the light having transmitted through the first light-transmitting layer (43a) to transmit therethrough; and a reflective material (42a) that has an upwardly bulging curved surface at the upper portion of the inner wall being in contact with the first light-transmitting layer (43a) and the second light-transmitting layer (44a), that is disposed on the substrate (40a) so as to surround the plurality of first light emitting elements (21), and that reflects the light emitted from the first light emitting elements (21). The thickness T between the surface of the first LED dies and the surface of the first light-transmitting layer (43a) is thicker than the thickness T1 defined as T1=LG1/(2tanθc), and the horizontal separation distance between a second contact part, where the upper end of the second light-transmitting layer (44a) is in contact with the curved surface of the reflective material (42a), and the lower end of the inner wall of the reflective material (42a) is longer than the horizontal separation distance between a first contact part, where the upper end of the first light-transmitting layer (43a) is in contact with the reflective material (42a), and the lower end of the inner wall of the reflective material (42a).
