Abstract:
Provided is a light-emitting device, which is a portable light-emitting device having a near field communication unit for sending and receiving a light-emission mode to and from another light-emitting device, and a switching unit for starting controlling the light-emitting device of interest in the light-emission mode received from the near field communication unit, in response to a switching instruction originating from at least any among an action using the light-emitting device of interest and an action using another light-emitting device. For example, if a switching instruction is issued by contacting another light-emitting device, a plurality of light-emitting devices can be caused to emit light one after another, as in an Olympic torch relay.
