Abstract:
Provided is a light-emitting device for which the size of a light-emitting region can be increased without decreasing yield. This light-emitting device has a central light-emitting unit and multiple peripheral light-emitting units arranged so as to occupy the outer periphery around the central light-emitting unit. The central light-emitting unit and each of the multiple peripheral light-emitting units has a substrate, and light-emitting elements mounted on the substrate, and the area of the light-emitting region of the individual peripheral light-emitting units is equal to or less than the area of the light-emitting region of the central light-emitting unit.
