Abstract:
This light-emitting device (1) comprises: a housing (10); a light source unit (40) that is accommodated in the housing (10) and emits light from a light emitting window (12w) of the housing (10); and a cooling unit (50) that is provided to the housing (10) and discharges, to the outside of the housing (10), the heat emitted by the light source unit (40) by means of a gas. The cooling unit (50) has: an introduction part (51) that receives the gas; a heat exchange part (70) in which the gas receives heat generated by the light source unit (40); and a circulation part (60) that introduces the gas from the introduction part (51) to the heat exchange part (70). The circulation part (60) includes: a first flow passage (61) that receives the gas from the introduction part (51) and extends in a Z direction; and a second flow passage (62) that receives the gas from the first passage (61), extends in a Y-direction, and is connected to the heat exchange part (70). The first flow passage (61) includes a portion that has a larger flow passage area than the flow passage area of the introduction part.
