Abstract:
This light-emitting device comprises: a substrate that includes a first main surface and a second main surface; a light-emitting element positioned on the first main surface; and a light guide body including an incident surface through which light emitted from the light-emitting element enters and an emission surface through which the light having entered through the incident surface is emitted as emission light. The substrate has a through-hole for connecting the first main surface and the second main surface. The light guide body overlaps the through-hole when seen in the normal direction of the first main surface. The emission light is emitted through the emission surface to both the first main surface side and the second main surface side.
