Abstract:
An LED drive circuit that drives an LED group comprising two or more LED strings with two or more LEDs connected in series, comprising: a plurality of LED drive units connected to each of the two or more LED strings, for supplying current to the LEDs in the two or more LED strings; and a current control unit that sets the current flowing to each LED drive unit to a prescribed current value. The current control unit comprises an amplifier, a negative feedback circuit network, and a reference voltage setting unit for setting the current value. The amplifier is configured to control the current value supplied to the LED group by using the reference voltage set by the reference voltage setting unit as one input and the current voltage information for two or more LED drive units among the plurality of LED drive units, via the negative feedback circuit network, as the other input.
