Abstract:
Provided is a light-emitting element having excellent external quantum efficiency. A light-emitting element having an anode, a cathode, a first organic layer provide between the anode and the cathode, and a second organic layer provided between the anode and the cathode, wherein the first organic layer contains a compound (T) in which the absolute value of the difference between the energy level in the lowest triplet excited state and the energy level in the lowest singlet state is 0.5 eV, the first organic layer not containing a phosphorescence-emitting metal complex, and the second organic layer contains a crosslinked body of a polymer compound including a crosslinking constituent unit, the energy level of the lowest triplet excited state of the polymer compound being 2.25 eV or higher.
