Abstract:
Light-emitting elements (3R, 3G, 3B) each comprise an anode (31), a positive hole transport layer (32), a light-emitting layer (33), an electron transport layer (34), and a cathode (35) in the stated order. The light-emitting layer includes a plurality of quantum dots (QDR, QDG, QDB) and an inorganic matrix material (4) that fills portions between the plurality of quantum dots. Further, the light-emitting element is provided with a first auxiliary layer (36) and/or a second auxiliary layer. The first auxiliary layer is in contact with the cathode side of the light-emitting layer and the second auxiliary layer is in contact with the anode side of the light-emitting layer. The first auxiliary layer and the second auxiliary layer are made from a material different from the inorganic matrix material.
